This was a pleasant surprise. Best plantains (amarillos) I've had in AZ. We had the regular ones, and the garlic flavored both amazing. I read a review about the chicarrones. Let me correct that reviewer. Having chicarrones that are crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside is a feat. Understanding that chicarrones will not be as juicy as a pork chop it it is juicy none the less. Next time, I will save room for dessert. It's definitely a hidden gem.

Everything from the food and drinks to service and atmosphere was phenomenal. My in-laws are visiting from PR and they really enjoyed everything we ordered. I know we have some excellent catering options in Tucson, but I’m so glad to have a brick and mortar location to enjoy now as well! We already have plans to come back and I highly recommend stopping by.

Omg so tasty and great portions! The pork was my favorite and ended the meal with the coconut guava pudding. Staff was very friendly, fun music playing, and can get loud with a full house.

We've been here twice in the last month and the service and food have been great. Everyone that works there is very personable makes you feel welcome!Pictured food is the Paella and the Pork dish (can't remember the name). Both were very flavorful and good sized portions. I eat A LOT and was full with the entree and half an appetizer.Highly Recommend.

Thanks to the owners, Carlos and Jackie, and their family for a truly wonderful dining experience. Excellent and authentic food. The mixed drinks we had were infused with either basil or mint and WOW! The rum drinks, the coquito, the sangria were all lip smacking good. Amazing customer service, everyone is attentive and so friendly, cozy atmosphere. Good sized portions, you won’t walk away hungry, believe me. My husband is from PR and will vouch for this restaurant 100%. We are so happy to have found this place and will return again and again.

Can’t say enough about this place. We had a large group and everyone ordered something different so we could all share. Every dish was perfect across the board. Even going above and beyond with plating. The owner came out personally to chat with us and explained some of his personal favorite dishes. Cocktails were also well crafted and delicious.

MY NEW FAVORITE PLACE IN TUCSON!!! Ok, I'm a Nuyorican so I may be a little biased. Lol. No, seriously, the deep layered flavors were so authentic, I felt my my Nana cooked the food. The service was great, although they brought out the appetizer with no plates. I liked the decor too. They put some effort into it. I'm eating leftovers right now. I love that they don't sacrifice seasoning and flavor for heat. A little pricey for the location but 100% worth it.
